PARIS, TX-- The city of Paris is looking to improve the city's parks, but not without input from residents.
Earlier this week, MHS Planning and Design, out of Tyler, presented a 10 year, nearly $3,000,000, master plan to develop and improve parks and recreation around Paris.
Survey results from the past year show residents would like an indoor recreational facility built, but residents also say the parks around town could use some TLC.
"Definitely the ground needs to be a little softer, lots of splinters, but other than that a little extra paint could help, said Paris resident Emily Kear. "I think a little touch up here and there but that's good."
A public hearing will be held at the December 2nd City Council meeting.
