1 shot dead, 1 hurt at Tyler motorcycle clubhouse
TYLER, Texas (AP) - Gunfire at a motorcycle clubhouse in East Texas has left one man dead, another critically hurt and police trying to determine who started shooting.
Tyler police say the attacks happened around 2 a.m. Monday at the Hyena clubhouse. Officer Donald Martin says police are seeking the identity of the shooter and a motive. No one has been arrested.
Both victims were transported by private vehicle to a Tyler hospital. Martin says 26-year-old Keeston Dwone Fields of Tyler later died. Martin says 33-year-old John T. Woods of Tyler was listed in critical condition.
Tyler is about 95 miles southeast of Dallas.
