HOUSTON,TX. (AP) - Police are seeking a gunman after one person died following a shooting during a social media-advertised party in Houston.
Police say someone in the crowd opened fire early Wednesday as officers broke up the party at a house.
Police say the victim was shot several times and died at a hospital. His name and age were not immediately released.
KTRK-TV reports more than 400 teenagers and older college students showed up for the party advertised on Facebook and Twitter.
Neighbors had complained about the noise and called police.
