HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police say a domestic dispute has left two women shot to death in an apparent murder and then a suicide at their house.
Police on Wednesday identified the pair as 24-year-old Ana Flores and 29-year-old Belinda Espinoza. Both were dead at the scene of the New Year's Day argument.
A police statement says Flores called 911 before she was fatally shot late Tuesday afternoon, allegedly by Espinoza who then turned the gun on herself. Officers who responded to the emergency call forced their way into the residence and found the bodies.
Police say the women were in a romantic relationship. Further details on what prompted the domestic disturbance were not immediately released.
