FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - A Fort Worth company is recalling its tuna salad sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches and potato salad because they may contain eggs.
Mom's Food Products Inc. announced the recall Tuesday, after discovering that an ingredient change wasn't reported by a Mom's supplier.
The company says that people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat the products.
The food items were distributed throughout Texas through retail stores or direct delivery.
The company says that no illnesses have been reported so far.
