DALLAS (AP) - A second brother has pleaded guilty to robbing the same North Texas bank twice.
Prosecutors in Dallas say 45-year-old Johnny Charles Butler on Wednesday pleaded guilty to two counts of armed bank robbery, plus assaulting a federal officer and using and carrying a firearm during a violent crime.
Records show 44-year-old James Robert Cleveland Butler in February pleaded guilty to two counts of armed bank robbery, plus using and carrying a firearm during a violent crime.
A Bank of America in Forney was robbed in November 2011 and last May. The brothers were arrested in August at their home in nearby Quinlan after Johnny Butler shot at officers.
A federal judge will consider a recommended 35-year prison term for Johnny Butler and 25 years for James Butler.
