TYLER, Texas (AP) - A second man has been charged in the slaying of an East Texas woman caught in alleged gang gunfire at a park where she took her 3-year-old son.
Smith County jail records show 19-year-old Dennis Montrell Bendy of Tyler was being held Thursday on a murder charge. Jail records don't list an attorney for Bendy, who surrendered Wednesday.
Tyler police say 20-year-old Rakheem Goldstein of Tyler turned himself in Monday on a murder charge.
Bond has been set at $1 million for each man charged in the July 30 death of 20-year-old Briana Raquel Young of Tyler. She was shot while at P.T. Cole Park. Her son wasn't injured.
Police have said more than two dozen people were in the park when the gunfire broke out.
