2 Lubbock children found alive

IDABEL, Okla. (AP) - Police say two of three children missing from Lubbock have been found alive in Oklahoma.

Capt. Greg Stevens said 14-year-old Jasmine Nichole Bazan and 9-year-old Angel Contreras were found around 11:30 p.m. Monday near Idabel, Oklahoma after Angel called his father in Lubbock.

The search continues for 11-year-old Lashawnda Annice Theriac, Angel's sibling. She is believed to be in the company of 41-year-old Kenneth Wilcox.

Stevens told The Associated Press Tuesday that the children are in the custody of the McCurtain County, Oklahoma Sheriff's Office.

He said authorities are searching for Wilcox who left Lubbock Saturday with plans to take the children and his son to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. The children hadn't been heard from since Saturday.
