GARLAND, Texas (AP) - Investigators think a Garland man fatally shot his wife and teenage daughter and then killed himself.
The bodies of the Andrews family were discovered Tuesday morning by the management staff of the family's apartment. Fellow employees of the man who lived there were concerned when he did not show up for work.
Garland police found 46-year-old Robert Andrews; his 46-year-old wife, Tammy; his 17-year-old daughter, Sarah; and the family dog dead.
Investigators say it appears Andrews shot his family and then killed himself.
A pistol allegedly used in the slayings was recovered.
A motive for the shootings was being sought.
