HOUSTON (AP) - The FBI is seeking victims of alleged wrongdoing by the Houston-based Stanford Financial Group or its affiliated companies.
Today's FBI advisory comes amid the investment fraud investigation of some companies founded by Texas billionaire R. Allen Stanford.
The Securities and Exchange Commission has accused Stanford of leading a massive Ponzi scheme.
The FBI wants to hear from alleged victims in the investigation to determine what it calls "the extent of the potential fraud."
