DALLAS (AP) - The FBI says four Texas bank robberies in as many days are blamed on a "crash dummy bandit" who part of the time had his arm in a sling.
The FBI linked the four holdups, including three Monday, to the same fugitive. Nobody has been hurt.
Special Agent Mark White says the man robbed an Omni American Bank in Euless and a Wachovia Bank in Dallas. United Credit Union in Tyler also was held up.
The robber at times had his left arm in a blue sling, plus a bandage on or around his nose.
Another robbery happened Friday at a Washington Mutual branch in Dallas.
The fugitive is described as a white male, at least 6 feet tall, driving a white Ford F-150 pickup.
