HOUSTON (AP) - A man who was speeding away from authorities struck a concrete wall and jumped to his death off a Houston
highway exit ramp.
The Houston Chronicle reports that other drivers witnessed the incident Sunday morning.
Officials did not identify the man but said he was under 30 and was driving a white BMW.
A Harris County deputy stopped the man for speeding around 10 a.m. after he entered a toll road. The man sped off and the deputy followed him to the southbound exit ramp to Interstate 45.
