AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Austin police are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were discovered in a condo near the University of Texas campus.
Cpl. Scott Perry told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the case is a homicide investigation. A news conference was scheduled for later Wednesday.
The bodies were found late Tuesday afternoon. A friend of one of the victims called police.
Names of the man and the woman, believed to be in their early 20s, were not immediately released.
Sgt. Richard Stresing says investigators found signs of trauma on the bodies.
