DALLAS (AP) - Thousands of homes and businesses were without
electricity after storms rolled through parts of northern Texas.
Oncor reported about 5,000 customers were still without power Tuesday morning.
The utility says about 16,000 customers lost electricity during the storms that began Monday night, packing heavy rain and winds as strong as 72 mph in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
No injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service says a cold front moved through the area Tuesday, with more rain likely.
