FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Officials at Texas Christian University are advising students, faculty and staff to be cautious after a female student told authorities she was sexually assaulted and threatened with a knife.
The woman reported the attack to TCU police around 9 p.m. on Tuesday. She was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
The woman told investigators her attacker was in his early 20s, had medium length, straight blond hair and moles on the right side of his face. Fort Worth police are now investigating.
Campus officials issued a crime alert Wednesday morning about the incident.
TCU officials reported last week that police were investigating an Oct. 1 report of a student who may have been slipped a date-rape drug and sexually assaulted last month.
