AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - The Transportation Security Administration says nothing suspicious was found after a sweep of an American Airlines jet where a passenger found a threatening note.
TSA spokeswoman Andrea McCauley says passengers, their baggage and the aircraft were rescreened Friday with "no findings of any prohibited item."
The Chicago-bound flight was grounded in Austin after a threatening note was found in a lavatory.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport spokesman Jason Zielinski says the plane had left the gate with 129 passengers on board Friday when a passenger found the note.
McCauley says the FBI is investigating.
