Texas man facing child sex charges caught in Tenn.
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Middle Tennessee sheriff's spokesman
says a fugitive wanted on child sex charges was caught less than 24
hours after Texas authorities alerted the department.
Miguel Zuniga Delgado was picked up Tuesday at a Walmart in
Montgomery County on a warrant from Abilene, Texas.
The 21-year-old Delgado is charged with continuous sexual abuse
of a child under 14, aggravated sexual assault of a child and
indecency with a child.
Sheriff's spokesman Ted Denny told The Leaf-Chronicle the arrest
followed good police work by Texas authorities in tracking the
suspect, who it appears had been in the Clarksville area for as
long as three weeks.
The U.S. Marshal Service aided in the arrest.
Delgado is held in lieu of $250,000 bond pending extradition to
