Armed man holes up in San Antonio restaurant

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - San Antonio SWAT officers have surrounded a restaurant where a man with a gun is holed up.
The owner of Taqueria Vallarta Mexican Restaurant and Seafood tells the San Antonio-Express News that the man entered after 6 a.m. Wednesday and allowed everyone to leave.
Owner Alejandro Galvan said the man walked into the restaurant just after it opened and offered marijuana to employees. Galvan said the man pointed the gun at his own head but never threatened him or his employees.
People were evacuated from the area.

School bus wreck in Houston, minor injuries

HOUSTON (AP) - A school bus wreck near downtown Houston snarled early morning commuter traffic.
Two other vehicles were involved in the Wednesday crash on the northbound South Freeway.
Authorities say about 40 students from KIPP Spirit College Prep School were on board the bus when it wrecked around 7 a.m. Most of the students were middle school-aged. Some complained of minor pain and injuries.
