GALVESTON, TX. (AP) - Firefighters have extinguished a crude oil tank fire started during an explosion at a biodiesel plant in Southeast Texas.
Galveston Battalion Chief Thomas Winn says the fire was put out around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
Winn says investigators are trying to determine what started the fire, reported around 7:30 p.m. Thursday along the waterfront.
City spokeswoman Alicia Cahill says a worker was treated for smoke inhalation.
Further details about the operator of the facility were not immediately available.
