Dozens of Dallas firefighters to help in Houston

DALLAS (AP) - About 160 Dallas firefighters will help staff Houston fire stations during a service for four firefighters who died after being trapped in a hotel blaze.

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans on Tuesday announced chartered buses will transport the Dallas firefighters to Houston. Evans says members of the Dallas Fire Association will cover shifts for on-duty Houston firefighters wanting to attend Wednesday's memorial service at Reliant Stadium.

Thousands of mourners are expected to remember Capt. Matthew Renaud, engineer operator Robert Bebee, firefighter Robert Garner and probationary firefighter Anne Sullivan. All were killed last Friday.

A Dallas firefighter died May 20 after becoming trapped while battling a condominium complex fire. The victim was Stanley Wilson.
