HOUSTON (AP) - Harris County sheriff's officers say the shooting deaths of three people may be drug related.
Authorities were summoned to a neighborhood in a northwest section of the county late Thursday morning after reports of gunfire.
Deputies found one shooting victim in a parking lot of a recreation center and two more inside a car that had crashed into a house. Windows of the car appeared to be shot out.
Investigators say evidence shows the victims were armed with pistols. They also found a bag of marijuana inside the wrecked car.
Residents say the neighborhood has had problems with break-ins and drug deals.
