TOMBALL, Texas (AP) - Investigators say the driver of a car has died after the vehicle rear-ended a Houston-area school bus on its morning route.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened Wednesday near Tomball. Most of the car ended up under the rear of the Waller Independent School District bus.
Authorities say the bus driver and students who were on board escaped injury.
The name of the car driver who died wasn't immediately released.
The school district says in a statement that the bus had made its first stop when the accident occurred.
