MONTGOMERY, Texas (AP) - Authorities say a Southeast Texas man has been arrested in the shooting death of his wife during an argument at their home after returning from a trip.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said Monday that 55-year-old Donna Quinlan was shot several times in the upper torso and head with a handgun on Sunday evening. She died at their home in Montgomery, located about 55 miles northwest of Houston.
The sheriff's office said 57-year-old Thomas A. Quinlan was arrested for murder and taken to jail, where he remained on Monday on $500,000 bond. Online jail records did not list an attorney for him.
