DALLAS (AP) - A Dallas man linked to the computer hacking group Anonymous has new attorneys familiar with high-profile national cases.

Barrett Brown attended a brief pretrial hearing Wednesday in Dallas federal court. He was accompanied by Seattle attorney Charles Swift, a former Navy lieutenant commander who represented Salim Ahmed Hamdan, a Guantanamo Bay detainee who was a former driver for Osama bin Laden.

Also representing Brown is University of Texas law school instructor Ahmed Ghappour and Dallas attorney Marlo Cadeddu.

Brown landed in prison last year after posting Twitter messages and YouTube videos ripping opponents and the FBI, which he said was investigating him. He faces three separate indictments.

Brown was once considered a de facto spokesman for Anonymous.

Ghappour says about $20,000 has been raised through online donations for Brown's defense.
