GALVESTON, Texas (AP) - State authorities say the pilot of an ultralight plane has died when the craft crashed to the ground southeast of Houston in Galveston County.
Few details were available in the immediate aftermath of the wreck late Tuesday morning in Santa Fe. The name of the pilot has not been released. No other injuries were reported.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is working to determine what caused the plane to plunge to the ground in an open field.
