HOUSTON (AP) - A Houston-area police officer who was shot during a traffic stop can be heard on a patrol car recording saying she was "hit twice" but still chasing three suspects.
One man was arrested on aggravated assault on a peace officer charges following the Oct. 26 shooting of Stafford Officer Ann Carrizales. Crime Stoppers of Houston on Thursday announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the other two suspects.
Carrizales continues recovering after being shot in the face and into her protective vest.
Patrol car video shows Carrizales driving after the suspects and telling dispatchers: "I've been shot in the face" but she's "fine." The chase ends in Houston.
