SAN ANTONIO, TX. (AP) - A Bexar County juvenile judge has ordered a 15-year-old boy accused of stabbing his mother's boyfriend to death to be held in a juvenile detention center.
The judge Monday ordered the teen held until a hearing March 8. The teen faces a murder charge in connection with the death of the 35-year-old man.
The boyfriend died Saturday after being stabbed at the home where he lived with his girlfriend and her children.
The San Antonio Express-News reports that police say that before the stabbing, the mother and her boyfriend had argued.
Two other children - ages 10 and 7 - were home at the time. A Child Protective Services spokeswoman says they have been placed in the care of relatives and the agency is now investigating the family.
