Rick Perry reversed course and joined other top conservatives in calling for an air travel ban from countries hardest-hit by Ebola, saying Friday that he'd pushed the idea with President Barack Obama and even suggested creating a "no-fly list" for Americans potentially exposed to the virus.

Toyota recalls Lexuses in U.S. for fuel leak risk

Updated: 10/15/2014 - DETROIT -- Toyota is recalling about 423,000 older-model Lexus luxury cars in the U.S. because a gasket can leak fuel and possibly cause a fire. The recall is among three global recalls that Toyota announced Wednesday totaling about 1.7 million vehicles.

A look at sick nurses' contact with Ebola

Updated: 10/15/2014 - DALLAS -- Two nurses at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who cared for a Liberian patient with Ebola have tested positive for the virus. Officials said the two have not been able to identify any specific breaches of protocol that might have led to them getting sick. But patient Thomas Eric Duncan's medical records, provided to The Associated Press by his family, do provide a picture of how nurses Nina Pham and Amber Joy Vinson interacted with him in the days between his arrival at the hospital Sept. 28 and his death Oct. 8:

CDC: Nurse exposed to Ebola should not have flown

Updated: 10/15/2014 - NEW YORK -- A top federal health official said Wednesday that a Texas nurse exposed to the Ebola virus never should have taken a flight from Cleveland to the Dallas area. She has now been diagnosed with Ebola and officials are now contacting other passengers on the plane.
