OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Former Oklahoma football coach Barry Switzer will appear in an episode of the TNT television show "Saving Grace."

The show stars Holly Hunter as Oklahoma City police detective Grace Hanadarko who is counseled by an angel.

Switzer plays himself in an episode in which a Porsche driven by Hunter's character is hit by a drunken drive.

The crash jars loose money hidden by one of the car's previous owners and Switzer's character is questioned because he is one of the former owners.

Switzer says in real life he's never owned a Porsche. He went 157-29-4 and won three national titles from 1973 to 1988 and later coached the Dallas Cowboys.

The episode is to air on August 11th.
