ADA, Okla. - Ada police are investigating how flyers for a white supremacist group ended up wrapped around delivered copies of the Ada newspaper.

Several subscribers to the Ada Evening News reported receiving a newsletter from the Ku Klux Klan wrapped around their local papers during the weekend.

Newspaper publisher Loné Beasley says the paper wasn't aware of the group's activities and says it was done without the newspaper's permission.

"It makes me feel violated, as a newspaper. It’s as bad as somebody coming in here and putting a gun in your face and try and rob you. It is stealing, it’s stealing our image, it’s stealing in every sense of the word, and we take exception to it," Beasley told KXII-TV.

The newspaper also said contract employees who deliver the papers are not responsible.

Ada police are asking residents to call police if they see suspicious vehicles after papers are delivered.

Similar flyers were found in Marshall County back in May. Residents of an Enos neighborhood said they awoke to find plastic bags of pebbles with notes attached in their yards, claiming to be the work of a group called the Oklahoma Klans of the Invisible Empire. The notes spouted one inflammatory statement after another, saying Hispanics refuse to work, and calling African Americans "lazy".

No word on if the incidents are related.

Police say if you notice something suspicious after the newspaper has been delivered, call your local authorities immediately.

Just to be clear, I was using a little humor to get a point across. First, the "wrote a song about it..." is and old skit from the In Living Color sketch comedy TV show. It was a blind, blues man played by Jamie Fox that had a song for everything anyone said. And the song, of course that is the famous Coca-Cola jingle from the 70's. Just trying to bring back that love... but thanks for the actual research and education to those who actually thought I might be making an actual claim.

WOW all the racist are up and going due to the upcoming election. People get over it, this is 2008 not 1954. I feel so bad for the small minded people who live with so much hate in their hearts. I am chosing not to vote this year due to the fact that both Canidates are incompitent, but I get so many texts and emails that are based souly on the fact that Obama is black, and I think that is the stupidest reason to not vote for someone!

Pull over for the stranded motorist, help your neighbor, feed someone who is hungry, give clothes away to people that need them, etc. Forget the flat screen when the console still works - use that money to feed a needy family and surprise them with presents they wouldn't otherwise receive for Christmas. Live forgiven and have grace... your Father does it for you.

i find it really funny on what some of you people are saying espically you "your enemy" it cracks me up hearing you say that you "detest hate groups" in saying that arn't you saying you hate yourself since you are hating on the hate groups..and i thought this was america where you have the first admendment right to speak your mind..we all have rights to follow our own beliefs..i for one think that this racially formed hate group is very wrong in most of their thinking.. but..(there always is a but)..they have the God given right to voice their opinion..just like christians...jews...blacks...orentials... muslums...whites...mexicans...and all other religious and racially formed groups...(if i forgot anyone i do apologize)..we all suffer from one form or another of discrimination some are religiously motivated and some are color motivated..

Tell me Discriminated. What are they doing? Now, I'm not a big fan of either Jackson or Mr. Sharpton. But what kind of hate are they preaching? The Panthers started as a way to protect the Black community from racist white cops and other whites who would beat, rape, and murder blacks for no reason other than they were black. Jesse Jackson is just a selfserving bag of hot air. I think Al Sharpton's heart is in the right place, but just a bit misguided.

IMO the carriers need to be checked into a bit closer. Unless this bunch of inbreds are actually industrious enough to sneak around town in the middle of the night & insert flyers into each newspaper (and personally, this bunch of sister-loving, inbred, mouth-breathing, bottom-feeding, toothless waste of genetic material doesn't have that much ambition) found in that neighborhood. Amazing what some will do in the midst of a meth frenzy. Stay home in front of the tube watching CMT.

tacarma3, the story didn't say any of that. It says the fliers were wrapped around the papers and found by "several customers" not all of them. I still say at least one carrier if not more was involved.

Ok anonymous... hear the story first Ada has around 20 carriers... These letters found their way from a black carriers few papers to a town just East of Ada called Allen into a few others yards then back to Ada to the prominent white side of town. 3 totally different carriers... Explain that?

#1 eduation means the opprotunity to become a prosporous American. KKK tends to still Homeschool their young children mostly by homeschooled mothers who have not attended college. A true American is proud to stand up, show their face, and preach the rights and wrongs for which their opinion believes. It had to have been a carrier. It would take a lot of time to walk house to house at 3 am slipping fliers into the papers after they are delivered but before anyone wakes up.
