Fatal Fire
HYDRO, Okla. (AP) - The Caddo County Sheriff's Office says a fire at a grain elevator in Hydro has killed one firefighter and injured five others.

HYDRO, Okla. (AP) - The Caddo County Sheriff's Office says a fire at a grain elevator in Hydro has killed one firefighter and injured five others.
Sheriff Gene Cain says one of the five firefighters was seriously injured and the other injuries were not life threatening.
About 10:30 a.m., a soy bean storage bin caught fire at the grain elevator in downtown Hydro off State Highway 58. Hydro and Weatherford firefighters fought the blaze. The firefighter who died was from Hydro.
Crews continued to fight the fire through the afternoon. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Hydro is about 70 miles west of Oklahoma City.
