OKLAHOMA CITY,OK (AP) - Hundreds of anti-abortion activists are expected to descend on the Capitol to urge state lawmakers to support further restrictions to abortion in Oklahoma.

The 21st annual Rose Day at the Capitol on Wednesday is sponsored by the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.

Participants are expected to bring roses to their state senators and representatives and encourage them to support anti-abortion legislation.

Gov. Mary Fallin is expected to address the rally.

Among the anti-abortion legislation lawmakers are considering this year are bills that would grant "personhood" status to a fertilized egg and require pregnant women to listen to a heartbeat of the fetus before having an abortion.
