We continue Daniel's birthday celebration this morning with a little steak and shrimp. It's a great end of the year birthday dinner to spice things up.
Surf & Turf
2 Any cut of Steak
10-15 Cocktail Shrimp (depending on size)
1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes
4 chopped jalapeno stuffed olives
1/2 chopped fresh avocado
1 tsp garlic
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Grill or broil steaks with your choice of steak seasoning.
Cut the tails of the shrimp, then cut them in to small pieces. Combine all ingredients in medium sized bowl, and mix well. Using a round biscuit or cookie cutter to make a round mold on plate. Fill the mold then let stand to set the shrimp cocktail.
Pull mold before ready to serve.
