Thanksgiving on a Budget Part 2

We continue our series Thanksgiving on a budget. Today we are making dessert, pecan pie.

Southern Pecan Pie
1 9" pie shell
1 cup pecans
4 eggs beaten
1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cup karo syrup
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place pecans in unbaked pie shell. Beat eggs. Add remaining ingredients beating with whisk (by hand). Pour over pecans in shell and bake 40-50 min. turning half way through.
