Sugar Free Fresh Pear Cake
It's all of Lisanne's favorites in one pie! You're sure to enjoy this one so add it to your Thanksgiving menu. Next week: Glazed Carrots with Bacon and Onion.
Happy November everyone! Where in the world has the year gone? Just seems like yesterday Charlie and I were busy cooling off from the 100 degree days. Yet we are three and a half weeks away from Thanksgiving. With that in mind, whether we like it or not, it's time to start on our holiday menus. So this week, lets do a new potato recipe. I'm tired of the same mashed potatoes every year, so I started playing and came up with this wonderfully easy recipe, Enjoy!!
Ok, so Lisanne lost the OU- Texas bet last week. That means this week, she's cooking! And as she does every night with her own family, it's something simple and easy. If you love "the munchies" type food this is for you. Perfect for a party or just to snack on out of the fridge. By the way, she stole the recipe from her Mother-in-Law!
I hope everyone enjoyed their end of summer holiday. We had a fabulous time out by the pool with friends and family. A lot of grilling took place and I wanted to share one of the many recipes I did over the long holiday weekend. My bid to a great and exciting summer. Enjoy!
Hasn't the much needed rain been wonderful this week? Rainy days always get me in the mood to cook and with my Charlie starting Pre-K this week, I actually have some quiet time to play in the kitchen. One of my most favorite things in the world to nibble on is salsa and chips. So today's recipe is one I came up with during my much anticipated quiet time. Enjoy!
This week's column is a fun one. One of the best things about summer is the freshness of the vegetables. I love summer cooking and because it's so hot, I tend to grill rather than heat up the house with the oven. However, some people find it hard to grill fish and shrimp outside, so today I'm going to share a little secret that will make it easier for you. Enjoy!
Happy August! Even though I'm ready for fall food, the temperatures are telling me otherwise. So, I'll follow suite and share a wonderful summer grill recipe. If you like spicy, then this one is for you. The recipe is very versatile, so try it on your favorite fish, chicken, pork or even burgers. Enjoy!
