Red River Shoot-Out Dip

Ingredients


  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground meat or ground chuck
  • 1 10.5 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 10.5 oz. can of chopped tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 8 oz. carton of sour cream
  • 1 16 oz. can of black beans with juice
  • 1 carton of sliced mushrooms
  • 4 oz. of soft cheese
  • 2 cups of cooked wild rice
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

    Directions

    Over high heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add meat and onions, cook for three minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients. Stir often. Serve with chips, bread, or garlic rounds.
