2 lbs lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 large green bell pepper, diced
4 TBS. butter
1 can of each;
whole kernel corn
Ranch Style Beans
2- small cans of tomato sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
- Dice the onion and bell pepper and sautee in the butter in a large on low heat. cover and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes or until soft.
- Add the meat and stir occassionally until brown while adding salt, pepper and garlic salt. Strain the entire mixture.
- Put meat and vegetable mixture back into pan, and add all the veggies, stir to combine. Then add one full can of water( using the empty can of tomato sauce). Stir to incorporate. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
- Then add the cheese, wait about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted to serve.
-Serve with crackers in a bowl.
Serves about 8-10 people.
