Thanksgiving Smoothie



From "Cooking with Cathy" with Chef Cathy Zeis,

4 oz. Libby 100% Pure Pumpkin

3 oz. Albertson’s Vanilla yogurt

3 oz. Apple Cider (usually in the produce area)

1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice

1 tablespoon chopped pecans

2 tablespoons honey

1 glass of ice (1 used a 16 oz. glass – you don’t want to cram it with ice, about 1/2” from the rim which should give you good consistency and pour)


Combine ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glass. Garnish with a dollop of Aerosol Whip Cream and sprinkle with chopped pecans and pumpkin pie spice.

If you want to make this smoothie for adults only, try it with Spiced Rum (first choice), Dark Rum or even a little bourbon.
