Grilled Sea Scallops with Smoked Bacon - Apple Wine Sauce

6 large sea scallops
4 slices smoked bacon, cubed
1 red delicious apple, seeded, peeled and cubed
2 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 TBS brown sugar
1/4 cup white wine
Over medium - high heat, grill scallops in olive oil. Cook 2 minutes per side turning once. *Scallops are done when sides start to split.
In a large skillet over high heat, cook bacon *Keep the grease. Cook for 3 minutes. Add apples and brown sugar. Cook 1 minute, add wine and simmer for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and spoon sauce over scallops.
