Ingredients
1 box of pastry shells
2 cups spinach (thawed and drained)
¼ cup uncooked bacon diced
2 heaping tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp diced jalapeños
2 tbsp jalapeño juice
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup slice mushrooms
Zeis spice
(¼ tsp garlic powder. ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, ¼ tsp lemon pepper)
Directions
Bake tarts according to package directions and set aside. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon, jalapeños, and mushrooms in oil and spices. Cook 1 min, then add spinach. Fold in cream cheese and jalapeño juice. Cook for 5 min, stirring occasionally. When cheese is melted, remove from heat and spoon mixture into tarts. Serve warm.
