Spinach and Crab Crepes

Ingredients


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2-1 lb. bags chopped spinach
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lb. Phillip's crab meat or 4, 6 oz. cans white crab meat
  • 1 package sliced mushrooms
  • 4 pints whipping cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup chardonnay wine

    Directions

    For Crepes:



    Combine and mix flour, sugar, salt, milk, and egg. Then pour 1/4 cup of batter onto hot skillet, spread evely and thinly as possible. Heat on each side.



    For Spinach and Crab Filling



    Prepare bags of spinach. Add garlic powder and water. Mix with crab meat and heat over stove, mixing well. Roll mix into crepes.



    For White Wine Mushroom Sauce



    Saute mushrooms. Mix in whipping cream and butter. Add chardonnay wine, then allow sauce to thicken. Pour over crepes.
