- 6 large sweet onions, sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1/3 cop maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Layer the onions in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Combine maple syrup and butter; pour over the onions. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 40-45 minutes or until onions are tender. Yield: 8-10 servings.
