Zippy Mexi Soup

Hope everyone is staying warm during this last week of January. This week's recipe is sure to keep you toasty and full all at the same time. This goes great with some hot cornbread. Keep this one handy because I promise you're family will want this one again. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1-lb. hot sausage

1/2 lb. lean ground sirloin

2-4.5 oz. cans chopped green chilies

2 cups yellow onion, diced

1-16 oz. jar Z's Creative Cuisine Chunky Corn Salsa

1-14.5 oz. can black beans

32 oz. beef broth

2 cups water

4 TBS. extra virgin olive oil

1 TBS. ground cumin

1/2 TBS. garlic powder

Directions

In a large pot over medium heat, cook sausage and beef in extra virgin olive oil and spices. Cook until done, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add all other ingredients
