Kay's Crabtree Pecan Pie

Ingredients


  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup pecan halves

    Directions

    Place piecrust into 9-inch pie plate and fold edges under, and crimp. Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans and pour into crust. Arrange pecan halves on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
