Summer Dessert Sensation

Ingredients


  • 1/4 tbs. butter
  • 1 fresh peach with skin on, sliced
  • 6 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 capful of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • splash of white wine
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 box of pastry shells
  • powdered sugar for garnish

    Directions

    In a medium saucepan over high heat, melt butter. Add fresh fruit and spices, stir in to incorporate. Simmer over medium-high heat for five minutes. Bake pastry shells according to directions on box. Once baked, fill with fruit filling and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
