SHERMAN, Tex. -- Kids went a little ‘buggy’ Tuesday at the Sherman Public Library. Children’s librarian Belinda Sakowski released dozens of painted lady butterflies Tuesday after children's story time.
Sakowski says this is the fifth year the library has raised a flutter of butterflies, and hands-on programs like this make learning fun for the kids.
"We’ve had a good turn-out this year. I think all but two of the 42 butterflies hatched on," Sakowski says.
