Denison mom says traffic not stopping at school bus stop
DENISON TX-- Roxanna Robbins has been staking out her son's school bus stop in Denison, using the camera on her cell phone to capture video of people who aren’t stopping for the bus. How much is a ticket for "NOT STOPPING" for a school bus stop sigh? Share that fine amount in the school news letter. If a few dozen tickets were issued ,, word would get around.

TO NO NAME: How is the maintenance director suppose to stop people from speeding thru a bus stop or a crossing guard? You kinda sound like a disgruntaled employee to me or a parent with a grudge.

it`s that big red sign that pops out on the side of the bus,,the one that says,STOP..those durn texans don`t have a clue what that sign is about

We have the same trouble in Sherman also! I am a bus-aide on a SE bus and we report about three to four car running our red lights on the bus, a week. Pepole need to be told that RED means STOP!!!

THE MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR AT DENISON DOES NOT WANT TO STIR UP A FUSS SO HE WILL JUST SWEAP THIS LITTLE MESS UNDER THE CARPET LIKE EVERY OTHER MESS HE HAS MADE AND HAS HIDDEN

Way back when your bus was a wagon pulled by mules cars didn't drive so fast. I drive a bus and the cars go by so fast it is impossible to get their licence number

Make 'em walk to school then they won't have any issues with riding the school bus. Better yet, home school the little monsters and they won't even have to leave the house. See, a solution to every issue!

reporter come sit at the Crutchfield school crossing in the afternoon, see how many drivers almost hit the guard. very scary, at least once a day someone goes through the stop sign.

Why is it everythings always turns into the cops fault? I ask you this how many busses are in denison and how many cops are onduty at the time school gets out? I don't think they have as many cops as busses so their is no way they can be with all of them. But anyway on anouther note why is it when you get caught speeding in a school zone and blame the cop for the ticket?

I see this every day. People are either brain-dead, or too busy texting, yakkin on their cell phones, or pimpin out on their stereos......

Way back in the day when my bus was a wagon pulled by mules, my bus driver had a pad and pen and wrote down every tag number that didn't stop and turned them in to the school. Maybe more bus drivers should do that.
