SHERMAN, TX -- Usually kids can't wait to get out of school for summer break, but some Sherman students are right back in class learning some fun new skills at Technology Camp, going on at Sory Elementary School this week .

The kids are using computers to program cartoon animation. The week-long camp started its first session Monday at Sory Elementary in Sherman.

Students are learning Microsoft Office programs, Flash, and Smart Boards.

It's open to kids from kindergarten to 8th grade. There are about 40 kids enrolled for this week's session, and most of them say it's a fun way to spend part of their summer.

"I've been wanting to go here ever since fourth grade. I've been begging my mom to let me go here and she finally said yes," tech camper Miles Eackles says.

There are still 2 sessions open for registration. If you would like to enroll your child, check the link below.
