ADA, Okla. ― An East Central University football player is in critical condition Friday night after he and another ECU student were stabbed early Thursday morning at an Ada bar.
Keewan King, 21, of Dallas, is in what Valley View Hospital in Ada is calling “very critical condition.” King is a wide receiver on ECU's football team.
King, and 21-year old ECU student Tyrone Gibbs, were stabbed Thursday morning at the C-4 Bar just north of Ada.
Gibbs' injuries were less severe. He was treated and released from the hospital.
The Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are asking for your help in solving the crime. There is a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the stabbing.
