Authorities say an Oklahoma State football
recruit has been arrested on a complaint of misdemeanor possession
of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
Linebacker Colton Richardson was taken into custody at Ada High
School on Thursday afternoon and later released. He hasn't been
Ada police Detective Jeff Crosby says the arrest stems from an
investigation into drug activity at the high school.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound linebacker signed with the Cowboys in
February. Last year, Richardson had 89 tackles, six sacks and two
interceptions for Ada. Offensively, he caught 49 passes for 628
yards and eight touchdowns.
He was rated by Rivals.com as one of Oklahoma's top 30 prospects
